Career Stepping Stones is pleased to announce a new partnership for 2010 with The Environmental Jobs Network (EJN). We are now offering careers services on behalf of EJN.
Services on offer include:
· Environmental Careers Introductory Workshops
· Individual CV check and general career audit
· Professional Career Counselling (Green focus) for those seeking a comprehensive and personalised one-on-one service (ideal for adult career-changers)

All services (excluding professional career counselling) have a rebate back to EJN to support their work in the environmental careers sector. Environmental Careers Introductory Workshops:
Ever wondered how to get a foot in the door of the environmental industry? What roles are out there and what you could do? Where to go to find opportunities?

Environmental Jobs Network (EJN) & Career Stepping Stones have teamed up to bring you the answers to all your questions in a series of Environmental Careers Workshops!

The Workshop has been developed by career development, recruitment and environmental specialists. It is aimed at graduates / soon to be graduates and career-changers and is jam-packed with advice to get you started in the environmental industry. It is best suited to those who are beginning their research about the sector. Topics Covered:
· What is a green job?
· Where are green jobs?
· Which job is best for me?
· How to Get a green job?
· Resources
Workshop fee of $55 includes GST and a rebate back to EJN.
Preferred payment method is direct transfer. Payments made by Credit/Debit Cards attract a 3% surcharge.
BONUS – Workshop fee also includes the EnviroPLUCK DVD, packed with career advice & information, hints and secrets.

Refunds can only be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop date.

Individual CV check and General Career Audit:
This service is delivered by e-mail and phone. The sessions are a great next step after the Environmental Careers Workshop (not essential though) and are best suited to those who are already working/studying in, or have done some research into, the environmental sector. It is general in nature and is not intended to be personalised career counselling.
Step 1. Contact Louise either via e-mail ejnpartner@careersteps.com.au or ph. 0408 513 181 to arrange payment (see costs below) and provide your contact details. Please use the e-mail Subject Heading “CV Check”.
Step 2. Louise will send you a brief questionnaire to complete and return along with your CV (or résumé) and availability for a phone discussion
Step 3. A pre-arranged phone discussion of up to 30 mins (at a mutually convenient time) to discuss your CV and green-career goal.

Costs~

· Part Time Student (any course): $66
· Professional/Employed (any sector): $77

Professional Career Counselling (Green focus):
This service is for those seeking a comprehensive and personalised one-on-one service (ideal for adult career-changers). This is delivered as a professional fee-for-service consultation in the Melbourne suburbs of Eltham or Hawthorn. Limited out-of-hours appointments are available at Eltham only. Most people will require several sessions (3 being common) with homework tasks to be completed in between. The outcome is a personalised action-plan to achieve your green-career goal.
